D'Angelo Danté Russell was born on February 23, 1996 and he is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. He spent his college basketball years at the Ohio State with the Buckeyes before being selected with the second overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. His main position is a the point guard and he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
